This workshop will educate Sheriffs and Jail Administrators on how to critically examine their suicide prevention program from a jail systems perspective. Discussing potential ways to innovate intervention, housing and training practices, this session will strengthen leadership’s ability to appraise needs and provide them with practical tools for system improvements and key areas for elevation including: intake, classification, facility layout, housing practices, the transition process, segregation, and other areas.
